Guild To Pve..join Us ....please
COMMENT PLEASE
guilds will be actively recruiting PVE players to hunt items for them all items will be returned to the guild hall which will have resident item experts and a stack of id and expert salvage kits along with regular salvage kits benefit to guild they can PVP without having to prepare for it benefit to player who trades many random items and is given choices of top equips for his/her build and giving the rest to the guild for their own use PVE player gets to share in guild without having to pvp both sides benefit |

This is what I thought John. This just doesn't seem fair, their only reconition is by giving items to their teammates and getting a thanks? Little unfair IMHO. |

the PVE person gets to join as a full participating member with the guild emblem etc except instead of being in the fights he/she is out enjoying PVE and brings home all the loot and gets a choice of what they want from the crafted equipment while the guild gets to share out the rest to the fighters
the PVE doesnt have to pay for id or expert salvage kits and has a much better chance of finding the item they want while the guild PVP get the rest to share out without having to pharm with a 100 member cap there is room for all |

Ummm...regardless of how ridiculous this idea is it is also in the wrong forum. Sorry if I sound like a mod, but this probably belongs in the Guild Matters section.
Edit: My mistake. I thought he was recruiting for a specific guild. My opinion that the idea is rediculous remains, however. Last edited by TheRealDecoy; Mar 06, 2005 at 10:39 PM // 22:39.. |

since this is discussion which involves the game as well as guilds i think it is a gray area
if it is in the wrong place you can bet it will be moved |

but if the only thing the pve person is doing is getting items and picking the items he wants, whys he in the guild? he is getting nothing but a cape on his back and free id and expert salvage kits! sounds a little unfair, maybe its just me

it saves him/her a lot of time on getting items and some people would find it a fair deal
i on the other hand will probably spend a week or 3 maybe in green askalon just finding everything i can before i move on its a game and i will take it at my own pace and enjoy it my way |

I would give your "Item scavengers" a weekly allowance. Maybe that would be more incentive for your PvE players.

it sounds like this guild is more like a buisness where as my guild is more like a family (my guild as in im in it ). well, if you find people willing to give away half they make for a free ID kit and a cape, than go for it, but i dont know many who would

John, don't you ever consider me a brother! *Shivers* Scary... So scary... Anyway, this guild sounds intresting. Of course the PvEers have alot of people to talk too when they're soloing a mission while you guys are PvPing. It can comfort both needs without pressuaring one side to help PvP. But yea, I do recommend an allowance of some sort. This way the PvEers can buy weapon upgrades so they can do their job twice as good. |
